We take stewardship seriously

Every dollar donated to First Love Movement is treated as a sacred trust. Here's how we govern ourselves, allocate funds, and report to you.

Our Financial Commitment

We are committed to maintaining administrative and fundraising overhead below industry standards โ€” directing the maximum possible percentage of contributions toward direct program expenses. We review our cost structure annually to identify efficiencies that allow more of every dollar to reach the people we serve.

We do not speculate with donated funds. We do not take on debt for operating expenses. When revenues exceed our current program needs, we build reserves adequate to sustain existing commitments for at least six months before considering program expansion.

How We Hold Ourselves Accountable

๐Ÿ“‹

Board Oversight

Our board of directors meets quarterly to review finances, program outcomes, and organizational direction. Board members serve voluntarily and are selected for their expertise and commitment to the mission.

๐Ÿ“Š

Annual Reporting

We publish an annual report summarizing program outcomes, financial allocation, and goals for the coming year. Copies are available to any donor on request.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ

501(c)(3) Status

First Love Movement is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 86-2792334). Our 990 tax returns are filed annually and available for public inspection.

๐Ÿ’ฌ

Open Communication

We believe donors deserve honest answers. If you have questions about how funds are used, we will answer them directly โ€” no boilerplate.

Request Financial Information

Donors and prospective donors may request a copy of our most recent annual financial statement, our 990 tax return, or a specific breakdown of program expenditures at any time. Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Financial Information Request" and we will respond within 5 business days.
